Recently, the sixth national college students statistical modeling contest school selection successfully completed. The 6th national statistical modeling contest for college students was jointly held by China education statistics society, the teaching steering committee for statistics majors in higher education institutions of the Ministry of Education, and the national education steering committee for graduate students majoring in applied statistics. The trials by the dean's office, the communist youth league committee of AnHui University of Finance and Economics, institute of statistics and applied mathematics, keidanren, the school by the students to undertake market research association, aims to promote the "new management" talent training mode reform in our school, in college students create a good atmosphere of learning statistics, applied statistics, improve students' ability to data collection, data mining, data analysis, cultivate students' innovation spirit and team cooperation spirit; At the same time to participate in the sixth national college students statistical modeling contest selection recommended excellent works.

 According to the requirements of the national competition, the selected papers are divided into four categories: "statistical modeling", "big data application", "market investigation and analysis" and "biomedicine", which have attracted the active participation of undergraduates and graduate students of all majors in the university. A total of 48 works were received from various professional teams, including 38 for undergraduates and 10 for postgraduates. After detection of academic misconduct and anonymous review by experts, 18 selected works won the first and second prizes respectively and were recommended to participate in the national statistical modeling contest for college students. The sixth national statistical modeling contest for college students, undertaken by henan university, is currently in the stage of anonymous expert evaluation.
