Course Description

This course focuses on the teaching and experiment of the main courses in the form of statistical cases. This course systematically introduces the experimental contents of the main courses of statistics, such as Statistics, Econometrics, Multivariate Statistical Analysis, Time Series Analysis, Statistical Analysis Software, etc. The main statistical softwares used are EXCEL, EVIEWS and R.

Course Learning Outcomes

Through the study of this course, students can possess basic statistical thinking, master basic statistical methods, cultivate the ability to analyze and solve practical problems in economic management and other fields by using statistical methods, and lay a solid foundation for further learning and research.

Pre-requisites: Advanced Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics, Microeconomics & Macroeconomics, Statistics, Econometrics, Time Series Analysis.
