In order to play the role of the party branch as a fighting bastion and the vanguard exemplary role of party members, we must strengthen the education of ideals and beliefs, inherit the red genes spirit, and focus on improving the organizational strength of the party organizations. From August 26th to 28th, members of the Party Committee of the School of Statistics and Applied Mathematics went to Jingxian County to carry out the revolutionary traditional education and patriotic education, and relive the oath of entering the party. The college party and government leaders, members of the party branch committee and section-level cadresof the university participated in this event.
During the event, party members collectively paid great reverence to the Martyrs cemetery of southern Anhui incident,the Memorial Hall of the New Fourth Army Military Site, and the former residence and memorial hall of Wang Jiaxiang. In the Southern Anhui Incident Martyrs Cemetery, Party Secretary Yao jinzhuo led the comrades to present the wreath to Martyrs Monument and relived the pledge of joining the party. Everyone was deeply inspired by the heroic spirit of the revolutionary martyrs, and more deeply realized that victory was hard-won. Then further strengthened the awareness of party members , tempered the party spirit and firmed the ideals and beliefs.
In the memorial site of the site of the New Fourth Army, comrades with great reverence and admiration to visit the revolutionary historical relics, historical materials and images, carefully listened to the lecturers to explain the process of the establishment of the New Fourth Army, the main organs of the military and the Southern Anhui Incident after the situation, etc. Relieve the party’s leadership of the New Fourth Army, who were not afraid of sacrifice , the great achievements of the war of resistance, and they remembered the revolutionary feelings of the older generation of proletarian revolutionaries.
Comrades also visited Wang Jiaxiang’s former residence and memorial hall, which deepened the understanding of the life and historical achievements of the older generation of proletarian revolutionary Wang Jiaxiang. Through the study tour, everyone said that it is necessary to further promote the implementation of Xi Jinping's new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the spirit of the party's 19th National Congress, and make new and greater efforts to accelerate the development of party building teaching in the university contribution.
