We review some recent results on equatorial water flows with vorticity, including the exact solutions, steady periodic waves, stability and analyticity. 

Speaker: Chu Jifeng, Professor of Shanghai Normal University, Doctoral Supervisor. Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office. His research direction is differential equations and dynamic systems. He has published more than 50 academic papers in international SCI source journals such as Journal of Differential Equations, Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems. "German Humboldt Scholar" has won the "Huo Yingdong College Young Teacher Award" of the Ministry of Education, the Euler Prize of Applied Mathematics of the Swiss Ministry of Science and Technology, Jiangsu Province's 333 high-level talent training project, and hosted 3 National Natural Science Foundation and provincial and ministerial Multiple items.
