The Higher Education School of Statistics and the China Business Statistics Association. The Mainland China Regional Trial Competition for the Cross-Strait Student Market Survey and Analysis Competition was successfully held at Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications. Our school has five teams to participate in the national finals. After fierce competition, it won 3 national first prizes and 2 second prizes. The school won the best college organization award. Xie Ahong, Gu Yanan, Li Hui, Xu Yueyang, and Ji Na team, led by Yang Yejun and Xu Xinhong, "The Investigation of the Status Quo and the Willingness of College Students to Appreciate Huangmei Opera in Anhui Province" A finalist in the mainland, the results ranked the top six in the country, won the national first prize and the best popularity team, advanced to the eighth cross-strait student market research and analysis contest finals. Our school team has once again made new breakthroughs in this competition and continues to maintain its leading position in the country.
The contest was launched in October 2018 and lasted for 7 months. After the school, paper and provincial competitions, 121 undergraduate institutions from 29 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government, and 209 teams advanced to the national finals. The participating teams draw lots into 10 groups to conduct group competitions. The team with the first team scores is selected for the mainland regional trials. In this year's National Finals Competition, 96 first prizes, 113 second prizes and 37 best college organization awards were awarded.
The National University Student Market Survey and Analysis Competition has been included in the 2014-2018 University Discipline Competition Rankings of the Ministry of Education. It is a national first-class national competition. It has received government support, corporate recognition, and active participation of college teachers and students. It is a highly correlated market survey between the two sides of the Taiwan Straits statistical and analytical practice teaching platform. The purpose of the competition is to guide the innovation and practice of college students, improve the practical ability of organization, planning, investigation and implementation, data processing and analysis, and cultivate social responsibility, service awareness, market acumen and teamwork spirit. The development level of production, education and research in the curriculum will promote colleges and universities to deepen innovation and entrepreneurship education, promote practical teaching, enhance the professional ability of college students, and promote mutual exchange and learning between schools on both sides of the strait.
