After the employment ceremony, professor Zhou Yong gave an academic report titled "opportunities and challenges of statistics", and professor Tang Niansheng gave an academic report titled "development status and application of big data". Dr. Li Chunzhong, Dr. Bi Xiuchun, Dr. Cui Lianbiao and Dr. Zhu Hailong, the young teachers of our departmentl, reported their latest research results to the participating experts, involving high-dimensional data, financial measurement, environmental accounting and differential equations, etc. The experts carefully listened to the work reports of the four doctors and put forward valuable opinions.

 In addition, the meeting also carried out the pre-evaluation of statistics and economic statistics in our department. Professor Chen Min organized the participating experts to establish a pre-assessment expert group. Dr. Zhang Kongsheng, head of the department of statistics, the economic statistics department Yang Yejun has to report to the panel in detail the construction of the various situations. The experts fully affirmed the achievements in the construction of the two majors in our department, and compared with the evaluation index system of the majors, put forward many beneficial suggestions for the follow-up construction of the two majors. The third meeting of the academic committee of the large data college and 2019 big data analysis and application of the academic seminar on further clarify the academy for the future professional and subject construction goal and the train of thought, analyzes the main problems, put forward the effective way to solve, statistics of our school, big data and related disciplines for the future of the construction and development plays an important role.
