Course Description
This course introduces the basic principles and methods of biostatistics, based on a brief introduction to the emergence and development of biostatistics, objects and effects, biological research methods, the calculation of the characteristic number, probability, probability distribution and sampling distribution, focuses on the statistical inference and test, variance analysis, linear regression, correlation analysis, covariance analysis, multiple linear regression and multivariate correlation analysis.
Course Learning Outcomes
By the study of this course, students can systematically master the various research methods of biostatistics, understand statistical thinking of all kinds of methods, grasp the differences and similarities between various analysis methods, as well as the conditions of usage, and be able to skillfully solve all kinds of practical problems in biological statistics using analytical methods.
