Course Description

Input-output analysis is a method of economic quantitative analysis. It is a major course of economics and management related major, mainly studies the quantitative relationship among the various components of economic coefficients. Through studying the course, students can master the basic theory and method of input-output analysis and establish a practical application economic mathematical model of input-output, and analyze and apply it.

Course Learning Outcomes

Understand the basic assumptions and basic theory of input-output analysis. Understand the direct compilation method of input-output table in China. Master the indirect preparation method of the input-output table and the compilation of the extension table. Master the application of input-output analysis in economic analysis, economic forecast and economic plan. Learn to use statistical software to carry out input-output analysis.

The prerequisite for this course is Linear Algebra, Statistics and Economics.
